DANIELLE TODYS , M.S, CCC-SLP

- Clinical Director

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Danielle Todys, M.S. CCC-SLP received her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University and holds her North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). After providing services in a variety of settings including home health, acute care, preschools, language clinics, and skilled nursing facilities, Danielle decided to transition to private practice. This change allows her the flexibility to see patients of all ages with a wide range of disorders, and provide her clients with the time and individualized treatment they deserve.

ELLE LEWALLEN , M.A, CF-SLP

- Speech Therapist

Raised in Monroe, NC, Elle Lewallen, M.A., CF-SLP, obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University, and her Master's degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, she holds her North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology, and is participating in her Clinical Fellowship to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Elle has provided therapy in a variety of settings including home health, acute    care, language clinics, and skilled nursing facilities, and has experience with a wide array of patient populations. When not working with patients, Elle likes to relax by reading, playing music, and creating art. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include salt- and fresh-water spring scuba diving, paddle boarding, hiking mountain trails, climbing waterfalls, and ziplining. Her absolute favorite thing to do is go to the beach with her family and her Yorkie, Max.

BEN TODYS

- Operations Director

 Ben Todys was born in Charlotte, NC and received his Bachelors degree from UNC-Charlotte, and is finishing his Masters degree in Information Technology Management from UNC-Greensboro.  Aside from managing the day-to-day operations of Carolina Speech Connections, Ben is also the IT guru and makes sure the phones ring and the emails get delivered. Additionally, Ben works as an Applications Engineer for a large international electronics company, which has allowed him to travel the world and see over thirty countries and forty-eight states!

MEGAN MCALLISTER , M.S, CF-SLP

- Speech Therapist

Originally from Waxhaw, NC, Megan McAllister, M.S., CF-SLP, obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University, and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University. Additionally, she holds her North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology, and is participating in her Clinical Fellowship to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Megan is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has provided therapy in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, schools, feeding clinic, and an Autism language clinic and has experience with a wide array of patient populations. When not working with patients Megan enjoys baking, hiking, and traveling.
