About Us

Carolina Speech Connections was started by D​anielle Todys, MS, CCC-SLP in 2017 after providing services in a variety of settings including home health, acute care, preschools, language clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. Danielle decided to transition to private practice and start Carolina Speech Connections which allows her and her team the flexibility to see patients of all ages with a wide range of disorders, and provide their clients with the time and individualized treatment they deserve. 

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Danielle received her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University and holds her North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, she holds a Certificate in Women's Leadership from Oxford University (UK).  When not working with patients, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children!
